Product Manager Measurement Job at Smith Arnold Partners, Arlington, VA

  • Smith Arnold Partners
  • Arlington, VA

Job Description

Imagine joining a high-growth technology company that is redefining how organizations connect data, audiences, media, research, and measurable outcomes. Rather than forcing teams to work across disconnected data sources and platforms, this innovative organization is building an integrated technology platform that brings intelligence together so it can actually be acted upon.

The company combines sophisticated data science, artificial intelligence, research, audience intelligence, and advertising technology to help brands, agencies, and advocacy organizations better understand the people they want to reach, identify the right audiences, activate campaigns, and measure whether those campaigns actually made an impact.

As Product Manager, Measurement, you’ll own a critical product area connecting advertising exposure to measurable outcomes. You’ll work with DSP data, identity solutions, audience platforms, research data, and emerging measurement capabilities to help answer one of the most important questions in advertising: Did the campaign work?

This isn't a traditional PM role focused solely on managing a backlog. You'll have meaningful ownership across product strategy, technology partnerships, data integrations, measurement solutions, and commercial opportunities. You'll work directly with engineering, data science, research, partnerships, and senior product leadership while helping shape the future of measurement.

For an experienced Product Manager coming from AdTech, DSPs, media measurement, programmatic, CTV, or data products, this is an opportunity to take your expertise and apply it to a product with significant strategic visibility and room to grow.

Why You'll Enjoy Working Here

  • Meaningful ownership: You'll have the autonomy to shape a major product area rather than simply execute someone else's roadmap.
  • Executive visibility: You'll work closely with senior product leadership and have the opportunity to influence company-wide product strategy.
  • Interesting problems: The role combines advertising technology, identity, data science, research, AI, and measurement.
  • Cross-functional exposure: You'll collaborate with technical, research, commercial, and partnership teams every day.
  • Growth opportunity: The company is expanding its platform and capabilities, giving you the opportunity to help build products and partnerships that don't yet exist.
  • Collaborative culture: Join a team driven by curiosity, teamwork, integrity, and a shared passion for solving complex problems.

What Employees Are Saying

  • “You’re given the opportunity to work on problems that are genuinely challenging. There’s a great combination of data, technology, and real-world business impact.”
  • “What I really enjoy is the cross-functional exposure. You’re working with product, engineering, data science, research, and commercial teams, so you’re constantly learning.”
  • “There’s a lot of ownership here. If you see an opportunity to improve the product or create something new, you’re encouraged to take the lead and make it happen.”

Title: Product Manager, Measurement

Location: Arlington, VA or Remote

Base Salary: $160,000 – $180,000

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for measurement solutions, from data procurement and integration through product development and client delivery.
  • Establish the roadmap and priorities for how the platform measures advertising performance across audience and media products.
  • Lead the procurement, ingestion, integration, and quality management of DSP log-level data from major demand-side platforms.
  • Define how advertising delivery data is securely and compliantly mapped to offline data using online identifiers and identity-resolution technologies.
  • Connect campaign delivery data to measurement products, including Reach & Frequency and clean-room environments, turning complex delivery signals into actionable metrics.
  • Help develop the next generation of opinion and advertising measurement capabilities by connecting campaign exposure with changes in awareness, attitudes, and opinions.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to translate complex business and partner requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Research teams to understand how survey-based opinion measurement can complement traditional advertising measurement.
  • Manage relationships with external technology and data partners and help establish new integrations that expand measurement capabilities.
  • Evaluate new partnership opportunities, technologies, and data sources that could create additional measurement capabilities or commercial opportunities.
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Research, Partnerships, and Revenue to ensure measurement solutions are aligned with both customer needs and business objectives.
  • Communicate product strategy, technical requirements, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in AdTech, media measurement, advertising technology, data products, or another highly data-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience taking ownership of a product area from strategy and requirements through development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with media buying, campaign activation, or digital advertising—you understand how digital and CTV campaigns are planned, bought, delivered, and measured.
  • Direct experience working with a major DSP such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Yahoo, or a comparable platform.
  • Working knowledge of DSP log-level data and how campaign delivery information is generated and used for measurement.
  • Experience building or managing data and technology partnerships, including the technical and commercial considerations involved in establishing new integrations.
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, identity graphs, and online identifiers including IP addresses, HEMs, MAIDs, CTV IDs, and cookies.
  • Understanding of how online identifiers can be connected to offline data in privacy-compliant environments.
  • Familiarity with Reach & Frequency, campaign measurement, attribution, and other core advertising measurement concepts.
  • Research literacy and an understanding of how survey-based measurement can complement advertising and media measurement.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Research, and commercial stakeholders.
