\nRole Description The Surgical Nurse at Maia Plastic Surgery is a full-time, on-site role based in Tysons Corner, VA. This role supports surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, organizing instruments and supplies, and assisting the surgeon and clinical team before, during, and after surgery. Daily responsibilities include pre-operative patient assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and post-operative care, including patient education on recovery, follow-up care and postop visits. The Surgical Nurse collaborates closely with the surgeon, anesthesiology providers, and front office staff to coordinate safe, efficient workflows and maintain high standards of infection control and documentation. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing empathetic, high-quality care in an aesthetic surgical setting.
